PCBIA Historic Walking Tour: The Anishinaabe and the Credit River
The Credit River is the recreational heart of today’s village. For the indigenous people of Mississauga, the river was the sacred home of “Manitou”.
Join Historian Richard Collins on June 24, 2023, for a fascinating walk through history and discover Port Credit’s first people, their way of life, and their beliefs.
The tour will begin at the iconic Port Credit Lighthouse (105 Lakeshore Road West) at 11:00 a.m. and will end at 12:30 p.m.
The tour is free, we just ask that you tip your tour guide!
