Classic Country Thursdays August 29th Line Up

Port Credit BIA has brought together two popular events for some amazing Summer vibes with Country Music and Classic Cars for our NEW Classic Country Thursdays!

Each Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., our community can enjoy live Country music, a DJ, line dancing, Country fare, games, and more!

Classic cars will return to the Port for the car afficionados and we have added a little Country back in the Port with special menu items at our participating business as well as attractions that include a mechanical bull ride, Brampton Batman, and more!

This weekly event will take place at the Elmwood lot at 3 Elmwood Avenue North and at participating businesses along Lakeshore from Hurontario to Seneca Ave.

The Line Up: August 29, 2024

Main Stage Elmwood Lot (3 Elmwood Ave. N)

• 5:00 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.: DJ Stormin Norman
• 5:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.: Line Dancing Lesson
• 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.: Mo Guzman
• 6:15 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.: Tex Rexman Country Cowboy
• 6:45 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.: Line Dancing Lesson
• 7:00 p.m.: Special Performance by Blue Heel Dance Studio
• 7:05 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.: Mo Guzman

Mo Guzman:

Mo Guzman is a self-taught singer, guitarist and percussionist who began his career in 2015 busking n the streets of downtown Toronto. His gift of raw vulnerability transcends his audience in a heartfelt experience, catering to a variety of different occasions. Mo is known for connecting with and engaging diverse crowds of all ages, cultures and backgrounds.

His unique vocal style encompasses a broad range of music, with an inter-generational repertoire ranging from the 1960’s to modern day, including rock, R&B, soul, pop, country and more.

Tex Rexman

Tex Rexman: Comedy Cowboy" is a laugh-out-loud show starring the one and only Tex Rexman, a circus cowboy sure to please! Saddle up for a  laugh out loud show filled to the brim with lasso tricks, wild west antics, and cowboy charm. With his flaming fire whip finale, Tex Rexman delivers a variety experience like no other. Perfect for audiences of all ages, his high-energy performance will have you hootin' and hollerin' from start to finish. Don't miss the ultimate cowboy character – it's a wild ride you won't forget!

Michelle Hedley Acoustics: 

Crossfield Bend is an acoustic duo performing Outlaw Country, Americana, Country Rock and Folk. From Johnny Cash to John Prine, Steve Earle, Neil Young, the Eagles  to the Rolling Stones and Blue Rodeo, they play stripped down versions of classics and deep cuts. They have been together and playing around Port Credit for a year, and host a popular monthly House of Musical Redemption open jam and Kitchen Party.
