At Port Credit BIA, we believe in the importance of community and keeping our main street vibrant through beautification and cleanliness. We are currently looking for Streetscape Ambassadors to join our team from May to October 2026.

Position Overview

As a Streetscape Ambassador, you will help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of Port Credit’s main street while supporting a welcoming and vibrant environment for residents, businesses, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Help maintain the cleanliness and beautification of Port Credit by:

  • Picking up litter

  • Removing graffiti and unauthorized flyers

  • Sweeping sidewalks and walkways

• Act as the eyes and ears of Port Credit’s main street, monitoring the area from Maple Ave. to Beechwood Ave., with particular attention to problem areas

• Report graffiti, vandalism, or other streetscape issues to the Streetscape Supervisor

• Empty PCBIA garbage and recycling bins as needed, including during the PCBIA Farmers Market

• Safely engage with residents and visitors and inform them about Port Credit BIA resources and services

• Assist with events and local activities when needed

Position Details

• Part-time, on-site position

• Various shifts available, including evenings and weekends

• Rate of pay: $17.60 per hour

• Contract term: May – October 2026
