Port Credit is known for exquisite dining experiences and the incredible vibe sitting out on a patio enjoying our lakeside main street!
In 2020, City Council approved a temporary patio program to allow restaurants to operate seasonal patios.
As the expiration date for this temporary program approaches (the end of 2023), the City is crafting a new by-law to ensure that seasonal outdoor patios become an automatic opportunity for restaurants moving forward.
City staff will be preparing a report to make recommendations for seasonal patio regulations. That's where you come in! The City is requesting your valuable feedback and to hear about your experiences with the patios you've visited or even the ones you have as part of your own establishment.
Please provide your feedback through the Beyond Indoor Dining Survey.
They are looking for your feedback on:
Improvements to the outdoor patio regulations
Streamlining of the patio application process
The new AGCO Protocols for Extending Patio Liquor Licenses
Suggestions for improving the experience
The survey is open until October 6, 2023.
